According to Newton's theory, visible light should be divided in seven primary colors, in order to join musical harmony. Here, five black obsidian stones are arranged on a white luminous screen. Each is faceted in a specific number, from four to twelve. While moving around the device, one could see the stones acting like prisms that would split white light into a variable number of colors. The number of facets could continue to increase, until the shape becomes a perfect cylinder, so the color spectrum is seen as a continuum. How many realities could cohabit into our own perception ?
